What This Means

Our Editorial Standards
Affiliate commissions do not influence which products we choose to write about or how we rate them. Our recommendations are based on our own research, publicly available specifications and reviews, and — where possible — hands-on impressions. We aim to be upfront about trade-offs and limitations of any product we recommend, not just its strengths, and we link to alternatives where relevant rather than only to the highest-commission option.
